Heatwave cupping is designed to help improve your health through a series of massage sessions and self-care routines.

What is cupping?

Whether caused by repetitive behaviors like poor posture or nursing an injury,  our bodies have a tendency to get locked  into patterns. Our muscles clamp down; causing tension, pain, restricted blood flow, and blocking wastes from being processed by the liver and kidneys.

All of this contributes to chronic pain. 

Cupping moves these deeply-stuck metabolic wastes by pulling blood from deeper layers of tissue into the more superficial layers of the skin. The lymph system can then move them to be finally processed by the liver and kidneys. This creates room for the circulation of fresh oxygenated blood, which is incredible for healing! Your massage therapist can now better manipulate your muscles through activation techniques, encouraging blood flow and reducing tension to allow your body to forget the old pattern and relieve the pain. 

Cupping is a strange sensation. At first, you may be hyper-aware of it, but soon you should hardly notice the feeling at all. Remember to talk to your massage therapist about any concerns or discomfort you're experiencing during the process.

    This phase is 6 weeks with one session per week.

  • Bi-weekly treatments in this phase ensure continued recovery, enhanced mobility, and sustained relaxation. A great option for those committed to keeping their body in peak condition with ongoing care.

    This phase is 6 sessions in total. We will discuss further treatment sessions for your tailored care.
